U.S. Senate Candidate Forum: Together We Thrive
Where and when is the event?
Elizabeth Seton High School is located at 5715 Emerson Street Bladensburg, MD 20710. The forum is on September 30, 2023, the third Saturday in Hispanic Heritage Month, and is scheduled from 1 PM to 3 PM. Doors will open at 12:15 PM. This event is free. Seating is first come first serve unless you have purchased a sponsorship package.
Can I get there with public transportation?
Elizabeth Seton High School is accessible via the Metro orange line to New Carrollton Station or the red line to the Rhode Island Avenue Station. The T-18 Metro Bus from either station drops off in front of Elizabeth Seton High School at the corner of Emerson Street and 58th Avenue.
What about parking?
There is plenty of parking throughout the school campus.
What is the dress code?
Business casual.
What should I bring with me?
Please do not bring any signs or loud noise instruments, as they will not be permitted.
Audience members will be asked to refrain from excessive exuberance for or against a candidate respectfully. We will ask that cell phones be turned off or silenced as a matter of courtesy and that unauthorized video recordings are not allowed. To comply with FCC guidelines for Federal races, we take unauthorized video recording very seriously, and you will be asked to refrain from recording from your phone. However, photos are acceptable.
We want to remind campaigns not to distribute campaign literature during the Forum or inside the event hall. Yard signs are not permitted inside the event hall. We want everyone to be able to view the stage comfortably and for our guests on stage not to be distracted. Guests can visit the candidate's informational tables in the outside lounge area.

Will translation services be provided?
Yes, We will offer Spanish and ASL translation services. Please look for the special seating.
Where can I find a schedule of the event?
Once our final schedule of events will be provided in the program you will receive at the door. We intend to start the event promptly at 2 P.M. Doors will open to the public at 1:15 P.M. Press should contact us directly prior.
Can I still submit a question for the candidates?
Yes, but at this time we cannot guarantee it will be asked.
